The Life of a Dragon

BioHello, everyone. I'm Arc Avalo, a caucasian male living
currently in Blountsville, AL. I have many, many interests,
but my biggest is music. I listen to a couple hours of it every day.
My favorite genre has always been basic heavy metal (Pantera, Down, etc.), but I also like death, thrash,
and even power metal. I also listen to rock and electronica sometimes. My favorite bands are
Fear Factory, DevilDriver, Corrosion of Conformity, Prong, and Diecast.
I also compose my own music using my guitar and computer. It doesn't have any vocals because
I suck at singing, but I blend all kinds of different guitar sounds together to make some nice songs.
Another of my interests is Japanese culture. Whether I'm learning the language, reading manga, eating ramen,
or watching anime, I always want to be in the land of the rising sun.
I've been goth for a long time. From a young age, I've had
a fascination with the supernatural, the afterlife, and darkness. I don't know what's beyond the mortal
realm, but I certainly try to figure it out. My life really has no meaning to it. I mean, we get born, we live a little, we die.
It is that simple. It's what you make out of the time in between that matters. Unfortunately, nothing in my life matters right now
except the one I love. Ironically, it was Angel that saved me from death. I came to realize that life, like everything, is a cycle, and
that there's really nothing meaningful for me in it. That all changed, though, when I met Angel. My love breathed new life into my decaying psyche
and made me feel new again. When I'm with Angel, the rest of the world doesn't matter. I'm totally for gay marriage because you should really be
with the one that makes you happy, regardless of what some crusty, old thousand year old book says. Regardless of what some hypocritical, ignorant, racist
teen boys say. I'm proud to be the way I am. As for religion, I'm atheist. I'm very anti-christ and get very pissed off when people start preaching to me, so don't do it.
I'm also quite literally obsessed with dragons. Something about them
just strikes a spark in my mind and makes me feel sometimes like I am one. Just like the darkness, I've been attracted to dragons
for a very long time. There aren't many goths where I live; I have to travel an hour
to the mall just to meet mall goths in Hot Topic. Well, that's why I came here. I certainly hope to meet interesting
people here. It won't be that hard, I'm sure.
